A Life Well Lived, A Legacy That Lives On
Hardy Hosten lived an extraordinary 100 years; a century marked by humility, hard work, quiet strength & countless memories shared with those fortunate enough to know him.
Born on November 20th, 1925, Hardy was a quiet & humble man whose gentle nature spoke for itself. Though never one to make much fuss, he had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed sharing subtle jokes, often bringing a smile or laugh when least expected.
A mason by trade, Hardy was a true workaholic who believed in keeping himself active and productive. Even when at home, sitting idle simply was not his way; he always had to find something to do. His hardworking spirit, discipline & willingness to keep going became defining parts of the man he was.
To live for a full century is a remarkable blessing. Hardy witnessed generations grow, times change & countless chapters of life unfold. Yet through the years, he remained a man remembered for his simplicity, humility & steadfast nature.
Hardy’s earthly journey came to a close on September 12th, 2026, leaving behind the memories of a hardworking man who quietly made his mark on the lives around him.
As we celebrate his remarkable century of life, we remember his humble spirit, his subtle humour, his hardworking hands & his determination to always keep moving.

I have known Mr Hardey for all my memory life. When passing to visit my grandmother Cleotha Reid, I would always call out to him. We will never pass one another on the path way and that smile would be remembered. May his soul rest in eternal peace. To the family who has to live on be strong. 🙏🏾💞

You have fought the race and you did it well. God has called you home to be with Him. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace and may the angels take him into paradise. Amen
