The Life of Rodney Sandy Rodney Sandy was a man whose presence brought warmth, laughter and life wherever he went. Born on February 12, 1958, Rodney lived his 68 years surrounded by the people, places and simple pleasures that meant the most to him. Loving, kind, outgoing and expressive, Rodney had a personality that was difficult to overlook and even harder to forget. Whether he was enjoying a good lime, following a cricket match, sharing a drink with friends or preparing something delicious in the kitchen, he knew how to enjoy life and the company of those around him. His popularity was a reflection of the many connections he made and the genuine way he related to others. Throughout his working years, Rodney was employed with the Ministry of Works, where he contributed his time and service before eventually retiring. Beyond his working life, his greatest treasures were found in the relationships he nurtured, especially the companionship and love he shared with his partner, Dereca George. Rodney's journey came to a close on August 12, 2026, but the memories he created will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His laughter, expressive nature, kindness and unmistakable presence will be remembered in every story shared and every moment that brings his memory near. Rodney Sandy lived, loved, laughed and left his mark. Though he is no longer with us in person, the love and memories he leaves behind will remain forever. May he rest in eternal peace.
