Celebrating The Life Of Verna Holder-George Verna Holder-George lived a life filled with love, warmth, rhythm & cherished connections. Born on August 25th, 1948, Verna grew into a kind, outgoing, loving & patient woman whose presence brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to know her. A proud past Teacher of Malick Secondary School, Verna had a special appreciation for the simple pleasures that made life beautiful. She loved the sweet sounds of pan and enjoyed dancing, especially to the music from “back in times.” Those familiar rhythms reflected much of who she was; spirited, joyful & full of life. Above all, Verna treasured her family. As a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, adopted grandmother, cousin, sister-in-law & dear friend, she held a special place in the lives of many. Her family extended far beyond blood, embracing those she loved as her very own. Her friendships, including those she shared with Carol Springer, Ingrid Wilson & her very special and dear friend, Mr. Faisul Ali, were meaningful parts of the life she built. Verna departed this life on September 8th, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving behind more than memories; she leaves a legacy of love, laughter, patience & togetherness. Though her earthly dance has ended, the rhythm of her life will continue through every story shared, every song remembered & every heart she touched. Rest Peacefully, Verna.
